On Personal Honesty as the Prerequisite of Ultimate Truth

I’m developing an understanding that personal honesty is more obtainable that ultimate truth, and yet it seems to me, for reasons I cannot say in this brief observation, that if I could ever know the truth, it would come to and through personal honesty. If there is the Ultimate, and the Ultimate were to speak to me, the truth would have to be heard by the truest part of me.
