On Choosing between “The Best” and “The Most”

There seems to be a relationship, yet to be defined, between “the best” and “the most.” I am often offered “the most,” but find myself deferring in favor of “the best.” This requires me to walk away from many of the most attractive opportunities. It seems difficult to achieve both “best” and “most.” One must decide.
