The notion of training fascinates me. It somehow denotes that I have an activity that I am engaged in, in order to get better at that activity for the day when it truly counts. But what could truly count more than the existing moment? On one level, I think the notion of training (in the form of practice) is worthwhile, but only if the training does not borrow from the present tense for the sake of the future tense. I must live within and enjoy the training itself, not simply for its future outcome, but for what it is bringing me now.
