Sometimes the leader’s role in the meeting is only to set the direction and the perimeters. Once the direction is set, the momentum of the dialogue will carry it further. One must be careful to allow a meeting to develop fruitfully, organically. One of the toughest jobs of the leader is easier said than done–to move himself out of the way.
