It is fascinating that Martin Luther would spend 30 years delivering his twice-weekly lectures on the Bible and that as Collinson notes, “The reformation happened between lectures.”

Luther wrote one book per fortnight for forty years. The books were written with no system in mind. His writing was so prolific that Collinson wrote, “It was as though he built the pyramids in a year.”
