In the world of technology we have forgotten the significance of a simple tool. A simple tool like a written list – if it is the right list – can be more valuable than all of the gadgets in our briefcase. I find that a simple paper tool can force the right thought process. I love what technology can do if it is supporting a proper process, but too often technology is used to obscure an improper process. If we start with a mess and then we engage technology, all we do is automate the mess.
