When we write observations, we have the freedom to say something important without saying something very well. When we write a book, poem, or story, there is intentionality to produce quality, but if I bring that same intentionality to every observation, I would never get them written. I would rather write three (quality) books that matter and leave a million words in unvarnished observations.
