With MECLABS, I have run a series of leadership experiments. They have been very intentional, and very personal. When I have erred, I have done so on the side of grace. I do not regret this approach, but it has been costly. It has been costly, but invaluable. The only way to optimize your effectiveness as a leader is to continue to learn. In fact, the greatest learner in an organization should be the leader. If the leader approaches his whole operation with too much certainty he will impair his capacity to grow, and thus the organization’s capacity to grow.
